Survey of Brazilian Art in UK collections - Art UK

We will start exploring UK art collections from a Brazilian perspective, looking for Brazilian artworks and objects, see their stories and curiosities.

The first post in this series will be from Art UK, which is a cultural, education charity in the UK. Since 2003 it has digitised over 220,000 paintings by over 40,000 artists and is now expanding the digital collection to include UK public sculpture. 

Works by some 40,000 painters held in over 3,000 collections are now on the website.
